Adult Bible Class (101)
Thursdays at 6:45 PM with Pastor Goelzer
In our Adult Bible Class 101 (ABC 101) we will look at the basic foundation of Christianity. Bring any and all questions you might have. After the class is over, you’ll be able to make an informed decision about Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. ABC 101 serves as the starting point for becoming an active member at Good Shepherd, though it’s open to anyone who has questions about the Bible or Christianity.
Adult Bible Class (202)
Sundays at 9:15 AM with Pastor Goelzer
In Adult Bible Class 202 (ABC 202), we’ll continue to grow in knowledge and understanding of God’s Word. ABC 202 is a great fit for guests and members alike and takes place between worship services on Sunday morning while kids participate in Sunday School.
Coffee and snacks are served. The style is break out discussion led by a spiritual leader.
Adult Bible Class (303)
Wednesday Evenings 6:45 PM with Pastor Goelzer
Classes Resume after Easter. We will continue to use the book called “God So Loved The World.” We pick up in the doctrinal study textbook with Soteriology, the study of our salvation. There will be outside reading assignments before class so that we may have a better discussion. If you would like to purchase the book for the class or for your own reference library, please email our secretary team secretary@gsatigers.com
This book was used as the Martin Luther College textbook for our teachers that covers all Christian Doctrine. It is comprehensive and a tremendous reference book to have in your home as questions come up about God, mankind and our Savior Jesus Christ. Topics we will cover over the next few months are but not limited to: Creation vs Evolution, Angels (good and evil), Free Will & the Image of God, Sin and its consequences.
If you are new to Good Shepherd and/or studying the bible, start with the 101 class. We know it won’t be long before you are digging for every treasure the Lord has given to us in His Word.
